I was on a quick visit in Pampanga since my flight from Caticlan/Boracay is landing at Clark Airport. I messaged my friend Joshua who's living in Lubao, an hour from San Fernando, to meet me up in Sm City to have lunch before heading to Manila.
Traveling is a great achievement in my life. The experience I gained the people I met and the lesson I learned on the road. It was in college day when I started to travel. I thought that the traveling is not for me because I don’t have money to spend and my family can’t afford to buy a plane ticket, 2011 when I started to travel, and my first-time experience to ride an airplane, I missed my midterm examination in Filipino and community service in my NSTP subject just to travel in Cebu and Bohol for limited pocket money of 1,650.00 in the span of 3 days with no regret. It was a dream, and I was not expecting that dream will come true despite our financial status.
When my friend Paula and I talked about where to travel next, we talked about traveling to Japan since the embassy is not too strict about getting a tourist visa. Three weeks before my planned travel to Catanduanes , I decided to apply for a Japan Visa since an Airplane ticket is not required.
The island of Catanduanes is blessed with a scenic view. Last December 2016, when typhoon NINA hit the island, and when I saw everything was a washout, including their airport, on the TV news. I worried about the people of the island and, of course, my upcoming visit.

I have planned this travel for almost a year, and I want this travel more memorable. At first, I was nervous about stepping on this province because of the negative side I heard in the news, but I conquered it and became more robust. Iloilo to General Santos Iloilo has a direct flight to General Santos with a cheap fare compared to connecting flights in Manila as I am based in Iloilo City. It took 1 hour and 30 minutes to pass by at Negros Island, Cebu, and Bohol.
