Other Side of the Beach

BEST TIME TO VISIT – The best time you can visit Underground River is in the morning at 8:30am because the office will start to operate in Sabang at 8:00am “First Come First Serve Basis” it’s better early than wait for very long time.

ACCOMMODATION – Stay in Sabang at least a day before your schedule visit, so that you will have ample time. There is lot of cottages available in sabang price start at 250 per night. When I visit Undergrund River I stay in Sunbird Cottage they have 250/night for Backpacker and private cottages at P450 thru agoda.

PERMIT – Secure before heading to sabang you can get the permit in their Tourism office in Coliseum but they will ask your proof of hotel/resort reservation “Voucher” Permit Fee P175.00. The next day if you already have your permit register first at Tourism Office of Sabang that is the first thing you will do and pay the environmental fee P40. after you finish those procedure go directly at the next both just facing the office  and give your permit so that they will enlist you for a boat crossing to the other side of the island, but of course you need to pay again the boat fare 700/boat maximum  of 6 persons, do not worry if you alone they will join you to other group and share the boat fee.

Happy to Witness the Underground River
