CASA MARIQUIT : Heritage Ancestral House of VP Fernando Lopez Sr. | ILOILO CITY




Casa Mariquit is ancestral house of  former Vice President Fernando Lopez Sr. located in the Jaro Iloilo City just near in Bicocho house. This house build in 200 years ago and one of the oldest heritage houses in the City of "LOVE" Iloilo.


If you are coming from the Jaro cathedral walk about 300 meters. The entrance fee is 50 pesos only and you can stay as you want. 



The caretaker of the house will take you around and will tell the story of the late family of Fernando Lopez Sr.


The 50 pesos that you pay will go to the maintenance of the house.

Unlike others heritage house they don't allow anybody to sit in the chair, but in casa mariquit is allowed but make sure to take the obligation  for taking care of the chair to avoid damage.
